HarborWalk Village to Honor Three Bob Hope Village Residents at Red White and Blue Ceremony June 8

Bob Hope Village residents, Joanne Blackwell, Joyce West, and Charlene Howard, all served in the U.S. Air Force during Korean War. HarborWalk Village in Destin will honor them as part of their weekly Red White and Blue Ceremony on June 8, 2017.

Join HarborWalk Village this Thursday June 8th at 7pm as they honor Lady Korean war vets from Bob Hope Village at their 2017 Red, White, Blue Celebration.

Joanne Blackwell, Charlene Howard, and Joyce West will be recognized for their efforts while serving in the Air Force during the Korean War era.

The patriotic salute begins with a WWII T-6 Texan flyover and airshow, an official presentation of the colors, singing of the National Anthem and a celebration ceremony recognizing local heroes and culminating the event with stunning fireworks over the Destin Harbor followed by an exciting fire spinning show.
