Thank you for making it possible for our residents to experience healthy aging

The place to be seen is the new fitness wing that opened recently. Residents have been enjoying group fitness classes and the cardio and strength training equipment.

The fitness wing at the Bob Hope Village community center opened last winter and residents have been putting it to use. The fitness wing features a cardio and strength training room with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, and a group exercise classroom with on-demand fitness classes on a large screen.

“I really enjoy our new fitness center, and I try to use it every day,” Mrs. Slesh said. “My favorite classes to take are Zumba and yoga.”

Yoga and Zumba are the most popular classes, and residents have been using the cardio and strength training room regularly.

Prior to using the fitness equipment, residents take an introductory class to learn how to use the equipment properly. A staff member is also available during the day to assist residents with the equipment or classes to ensure safety.
