Not Your Grandfather’s Chow Hall

Dining at Air Force Enlisted Village

Food is central to all of our lives, but it’s especially important to a well-rounded retirement. You need a good neighborhood hangout! And you’ll find just that at Air Force Enlisted Village. Bob Hope Village residents love to cook and entertain, but there’s nothing like getting together at the Knife’s Edge Café and Catering for everything from sandwiches and burgers to salads and power bowls.

With an ever-changing menu designed by Chef Carrie, the Knife’s Edge offers a range of seasonal menus such as coconut shrimp, seafood salad croissants and crab cakes, as well as homestyle favorites like lasagna, French dips and pot roast.

The best part of a restaurant, however, is the company you keep. Located in our Commons community center, you’ll find plenty of laughter, conversation and good cheer.

Dining at Hawthorn House

Assisted Living residents have a dining plan with three square meals a day in one of our four dining rooms, open for staggered meal times so you can choose when, what and with whom you eat.

Our Dining Services Department works closely with a nutritionist to provide delicious, well-balanced meals for our residents. Meals are served restaurant style in our four intimate dining rooms where residents can socialize with their neighbors.

Plus, our snack bar is always available with healthy snacks, coffee, and a comfortable seating area for catching up with friends. Other snacks and sundries are available for purchase at our General Store.
