The Air Force Enlisted Village (AFEV) will host a Groundbreaking Ceremony for Bob Hope Village 6 on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. located near 30 Holly Avenue, Shalimar, Florida. A reception will follow at the Bob Hope Village Commons ballroom.
“With the start of the Village 6 construction, we will begin the journey to expand our community and help more people,” AFEV President and CEO Brooke McLean said. “This new construction will provide an additional 63 apartments and will allow us to drastically reduce our waiting list, especially for retired couples.”
Bob Hope Village 6 is slated to open in 2020 and will be an all-in-one community with 63 spacious apartments with its own club house. Four different floor plans will be available for prospective residents to select from, and each unit will include 2 bedrooms/2 baths, a balcony or patio, and plenty of parking. Bob Hope Village 6 residents will enjoy the same services and amenities as all Bob Hope Village residents: access to transportation, activities, social events, on-site conveniences, volunteer opportunities, and a variety of services to promote fitness, wellness, and independence.
