Bob Hope Village, our independent living neighborhood, is an active 55+ community offering private 1- and 2-bedroom apartments in six villages around campus. Elegant, spacious and amenity-rich, our independent living residences are a great place to retire!
All apartments include major appliances. including a stove, refrigerator, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. Washer and dryers are either provided in each apartment or easily accessible at no additional fee. You bring your furniture and décor to transform our apartments into your home.
Yes, please bring your car with you to Bob Hope Village if you are actively driving. Bob Hope Village offers plenty of parking for resident owned vehicles. Parking is not assigned at Villages 1-4, but is assigned in Villages 5-6. Overflow parking is available for residents who have an extra vehicle.
Yes, we offer bus service with regularly scheduled trips to the local commissary, BX, grocery stores, and other shopping centers. Our transportation department is also available to drive residents to and from local medical appointments for a small fee.
Bob Hope Village does not have a dining plan. A cafe is conveniently located in The Commons (community center) and is open Monday through Friday for lunch service. You may dine there with your friends and neighbors or choose delivery for a small fee.
No. Residency is only for those who meet our eligibility criteria.
Yes, you are welcome to have overnight guests visit you at Bob Hope Village. You may have guests stay overnight up to total of thirty (30) days in a calendar year.
We have four guest apartments that are fully furnished and available to your guests for a fee. Guest apartments may be used when you come to visit Bob Hope Village, take a tour, visiting family or guests.
Pets are allowed in Villages 1-4 with some restrictions. Guests are not permitted to bring pets on the campus.
We are open to retired, enlisted members from the Air Force, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve or Space Force and their surviving spouses. All applicants to Bob Hope Village must be able to live independently and possess a valid military ID. While we are a 55+ community, younger applicants in need, whose active duty sponsor has just died, may be admitted for up to one year.
Yes! Both prospective residents will need to be 55 years of age or older to reside at Bob Hope Village.
Bob Hope Village is a gated campus with two entrances. Security guards are on duty 24/7.
Yes. Many of our residents utilize our prescription pick up. Prescriptions are picked up for Bob Hope Village residents every Tuesday and Friday.
