Our assisted living facility, Hawthorn House, must adhere to strict guidelines put in place by the state of Florida. Since the coronavirus pandemic started, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has enacted strict rules to keep residents safe because assisted living facilities are densely populated communities. Visitors are currently not permitted at Hawthorn House. However, that doesn’t stop the residents there from having fun. The activities coordinators recently asked residents what they’d like to tell everyone about what’s going on inside Hawthorn House during this time. Here’s a gallery of photos with their answers:
